Perry County MOVANS 2026 Split
Missouri’s May 2026 transition is the key local implementation detail. The official MOVANS update separates local jail and court registrations from MODOC registrations. DPS supports the local route. Corrections handles registrations tied to its own offenders. That split should guide every support request.
Phone-call alerts and VINELink-app notifications ended under the current update. SMS and email remain. Existing users who lacked those supported methods had to register again. Instructions that promise a confirmation call, tell users to wait for an app push, or require an old fixed PIN do not reflect the current Perry County route.
MobilePatrol and Missouri Sheriff Connect are not affiliated with MOVANS according to Missouri DPS. The official Perry County Sheriff app is a separate public-safety communications tool, and its store description does not establish a release-notification function.
